Dr. Mahmoud Karimipour graduated from The College of Charleston with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1989 and worked for a local company in Charleston, SC for six years. He then followed his passion in health care by graduating in Dentistry from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1999. He completed an Advanced Education program in General Dentistry at MUSC where he experienced firsthand different aspects of dental specialties. Dr.Karimipour then took his passion to the next step and went on to receive certificate of Endodontics from the University of Southern California in 2002. During his residency he worked and learned from renowned Endodontist like Dr. James Simon, Dr. Stephen Davis, Dr. Ilan Rotstein, and Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan. He has given lectures at the California Dental Association Annual Meetings. While at USC, he co-authored the New Problem Based Learning Endodontics Didactic Curriculum and taught pre-Doctoral dental students. He had run successful practices in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley California for several years but then decided to move back to the South, where he spent most of his life. 

Dr. Karimipour is an accomplished clinician, researcher, and teacher, with the mindset to strive for excellence in whatever he does. His professional affiliations include American Association of Endodontist, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, SC Dental Association, and SC Endodontist Association.
